Launch of the New AMU Website

The Antarctic Micronational Union is pleased to announce the launch of its new official website at amu.ac, replacing the previous WordPress-based site that had served the organization since 2020.

Grand Duchy of Flandrensis Rejoins the AMU

In accordance with Section IV of the AMU Charter, the Grand Duchy of Flandrensis has been granted AMU Membership and admitted as the ninth member of the Antarctic Micronational Union following the unanimous vote of the existing members.

Republic of Avinenska Expelled from the AMU

In accordance with Section III of the AMU Charter, the Republic of Avinenska has been expelled from the Antarctic Micronational Union, after the delegates of other member states unanimously voted for the expulsion.

Kingdom of Brienia Abolished

In a letter to the Antarctic Micronational Union, Ludwig Brienović, former King Ivan Brienović, notified the Administrative-General about the dissolution of the Kingdom of Brienia. In compliance with Section III of the AMU Charter, the former delegates of the Kingdom of Brienia have been removed from all logs, registers, and forums, and an updated AMU Map will be released in brief.

Grand Duchy of Pikeland Granted AMU Membership

In accordance with Section IV of the AMU Charter, the Grand Duchy of Pikeland has been granted AMU Membership and admitted as the tenth member of the Antarctic Micronational Union, after more than 2/3 of the active states and a passing majority of the active signatories voted in favor of accepting the application.

New AMU Website Released

The Antarctic Micronational Union has released its new website today, after the organization’s revival on 24 February 2020.
